Abandoned in the Garden of Questionable Intent

Beautiful photography by Philneff at deviantart. This photo featuring model Emily in a foggy forest was taken at Blue Ridge Parkway, Virginia.

What’s most beautiful about this photograph is how the fog creates layers of trees and emphasizes the model in a very subtle way.

To start the year off, here is a nude portrait of Catja. I rarely make use of natural light (I’m somewhat of a strobe nerd) but I couldn’t refuse making good use of the beautiful light available.

Catja was an awesome model to work with and extremely beautiful. The light in the room was nothing short of amazing and I didn’t fire a single flash. As always shot by me, z-tox photography.

This is one of the artistic nude shots I’m most proud and I finally got to share it. I shot this in the studio a while ago. The model is actually sitting on a table in front of a white background. I used two strobes to light the background and a small softbox to add some details in her face.

Ryan McGinley’s Animals

Team Gallery in New York presents Ryan McGinley’s Animals which consists of the artist’s color studio portraits of live animals with nude models.

Ryan McGinley (born October 17, 1977) is an American photographer living in New York City who began making photographs in 1998.

In 2003, at the age of 25, McGinley was one of the youngest artist to have a solo show at the Whitney Museum of American Art. He was also named Photographer of the Year in 2003 by American Photo Magazine.
